The Webby Awards, the leading international honor for websites, has recognized www.henrymiller.info, created by Full Steam Marketing & Design, as an Official Honoree, a distinction by the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences that recognizes websites exhibiting remarkable achievement.

Full Steam designed and produced “Henry Miller: Personal Collection” at www.henrymiller.info, for Miller’s daughter, Valentine, in homage of her father. Full Steam incorporated imagery throughout the site in a style that showcases both his art and his writing. The site includes a biography, special tributes to Miller by others, personal photos, and examples of Miller’s watercolors and other art.

“It has been an interesting year since I launched the website to honor my father, Valentine said. “Most of the people contacting me are fans of his books. But many are delighted to see the art work. People from all over the globe, from Brazil and Sweden, Australia and France, plus college students from England and America wrote tender letters. Many sent their own poems and prose telling me that reading my dad gave them the courage to write. I am happy to keep his spirit alive.”

The 10th Annual Webby Awards received a record number of entries from over 40 countries and all 50 states. Out of the over 5,500 entries submitted, fewer than 20% received this honor and were deemed an Official Honoree.
