David Ligare is a fine arts painter of international renown. It was important to him that the design firm he worked with understood the nuances of his work and had the skill to interpret his unique classical vision on multiple levels. Full Steam created a website where palette colors of ancient Greek pottery combine with text and page design reminiscent of historical documents. Paintings are displayed gallery-style on a horizontal scroll Exhibit page. A Forum page functions as a “place” for conversation about art and theory while a Feedback page allows access to discussions with the artist. The simple yet flexible interface permits ease of movement throughout the site and speedy update of pages as required by the artist.
