Full Steam realized Mills Family Farms could make an exceptionally strong sales pitch using an interactive presentation tool to show prospective buyers the specific cost savings and other benefits of their Wholeaves® product versus commodity lettuce. Full Steam recommended a custom CD-ROM with a unique database-driven calculator that enabled the sales force to give an overview of the company, show product benefits and calculate price comparison between value-added Wholeaves® and commodity lettuce using the customers’ real cost and expense numbers. A print function allows the customized savings information to be left behind with each customer. Full Steam later converted the CD-ROM content for web usage, giving Mills yet another way to employ this powerful sales tool.
