When the owners of Gianna’s decided to brand their expanding line of home-style baked goods, they chose Full Steam to design their logo. The owners had definite ideas about the look of the final image: it had to be contemporary in feel yet infused with the “old world” quality of their Italian heritage. To achieve that blend, stylized illustration and hand drawn type were combined with Gianna’s signature color purple used in earlier type-only labels. The final logo is a loving tribute to Mama Gianna whose delicious recipes were the original inspiration for the company.
